Wuchang: Fallen Feathers continues to refine its experience on consoles and PC with the arrival of two consecutive new updates, patches 1.3 and 1.4, which are now available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows PC. With these patches, the game achieves total parity between platforms and improves both performance and overall stability.
The studio has confirmed that more updates are in development, so new improvements are expected soon. Meanwhile, these two patches bring much-needed changes, especially for PC players with mid-range or low-end hardware, as well as key adjustments in chapter 2 of the campaign.
Wuchang receives performance improvements, gameplay adjustments, and more on all platforms
On PC, the patches introduce several graphical optimizations, highlighting that the low latency mode is now a manual option in the menu instead of being enabled by default. The resolution limit with supersampling has also been adjusted to prevent performance drops on certain graphics cards.
- One of the most significant changes comes for GPUs with less than 8 GB of VRAM: memory optimizations are now applied to all texture qualities, reducing crashes and improving smoothness on more modest PCs. On graphics cards with more than 8 GB, this optimization is only activated if textures are set to low.
- Additionally, a crash at the start of the game (right after the studio’s logo) and stuttering when executing finishing moves have been fixed, a problem that also affected consoles and has already been solved on Xbox Series and PS5. On the other hand, balance adjustments have been made in the game’s second chapter, reducing both the number of mines and the damage they cause, making this section more fair and enjoyable. The patch also includes small localization corrections.
With these two new patches, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers continues to move in the right direction. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s available on Xbox Game Pass since July 24th, and you can now enjoy it with a more stable and optimized experience than ever.
