During the Xbox Developer_Direct, Microsoft has finally shown a long and detailed Fable gameplay video, allowing us to see clearly how the return of one of the most beloved franchises in the Xbox catalog will be. The project, developed by Playground Games, has also confirmed an important fact: the game will also be released on PlayStation 5.

The presentation has served to clear up many doubts and confirm that we are facing a complete RPG, with deep systems and a very faithful approach to the classic spirit of the saga.

One of the first confirmed details is that there will be no fixed protagonist. Players will be able to create their own character, choosing their sex and appearance, which marks a clear difference from the first trailers shown years ago.

As for combat, the gameplay has shown varied confrontations, combining:

• Melee weapons

• Magic

• Ranged weapons, such as the crossbow

All of this accompanied by enemies as peculiar as the Fable tradition, with a clearly humorous tone. One of the most commented examples has been a battle against a giant chicken, which reinforces the game’s lighthearted identity.

The second part of the video focused on the world of Albion and the available activities. In addition to exploration, players will be able to:

The game will also feature a reputation system, which will take into account the player’s decisions and actions, influencing the reaction of NPCs and various aspects of the world.
