Steam continues to expand its catalog of our favorite games almost daily (the free ones) and today it’s back with another quite curious selection of games for PC. This time we have proposals of terror, arcade speed, relaxed puzzles, and even a rather peculiar mix of cats and Mahjong.
As we usually do at Generación Xbox, we remain attentive to these types of free releases every day because Steam doesn’t stop receiving new independent projects that can be downloaded at no cost from the very beginning.
These are the new free games available now on Steam
- Flesh Forest
A terror and survival proposal with a rather unsettling atmosphere where we’ll have to move through a dark forest full of deformed creatures and disturbing scenarios. The game bets on exploration, constant tension, and a very uncomfortable visual atmosphere, trying to convey a sense of danger almost all the time. - Rocket Cars
An arcade title focused on extreme speed and cars propelled by rockets. The races are designed to be fast, chaotic, and full of crashes, jumps, and exaggerated accelerations. Its style is reminiscent of some classic arcade games where the important thing is to maintain constant speed while avoiding losing control. - Catjong 5: Paw Canyon
A rather relaxed mix of traditional Mahjong and cat themes. The game bets on colorful scenarios, tranquil music, and matches designed to play without pressure while solving different boards and unlocking new designs inspired by felines. - Minute Mark
A game centered on quick challenges where every second counts. The proposal revolves around completing objectives in very short periods, forcing the player to react quickly and optimize each movement to achieve better results.
Steam continues to demonstrate in 2026 that the free-to-play model is growing a lot on PC. Some of these proposals go unnoticed quickly, but others end up finding quite large communities thanks to this free format.
