The return of one of the most iconic games in the Metal Gear saga is just around the corner, and Konami continues to release details in dribs and drabs. With less than a month to go before the official launch, the publisher has shared a new clip focused on one of the most beloved costumes by fans of the saga: the Peace Walker uniform.
This brief preview was published directly on the official channels and shows the protagonist infiltrating a recognizable area for veterans: the Bolshaya Pass. The scenario has been rebuilt with the Unreal Engine 5 engine and stands out for its renewed atmosphere, although very faithful to the original.
New Metal Gear Solid Delta gameplay with a nod to Peace Walker
In the video, we see Naked Snake dressed in the Peace Walker uniform, one of the costumes available as additional content. This outfit will be included in the Deluxe Edition of the game, although it can also be purchased separately as DLC. The fragment makes it clear that this type of extras will not only be cosmetic, but will be integrated naturally into the missions.
- During gameplay, Snake uses low covers to avoid being detected, places a magazine to distract enemies, and finishes with a sequence that will surely bring a smile to veteran players’ faces. Everything maintains the classic infiltration style with touches of humor that characterizes the franchise.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will arrive on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC on August 28, 2025. The game promises a complete overhaul of the 2004 classic, with improved graphics, updated controls, and a completely renewed focus thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 5.
Konami continues to keep many details under wraps, but this new video makes it clear that the studio is pampering both the visuals and respect for the original material. If you’re a fan of the saga or want to discover why this title is one of the most influential of the 21st century, mark the date: August 28.
