I must admit, I’m thrilled to see this type of game making a comeback for us, the players who were kids decades ago and enjoyed these experiences with a 2D pixel-art style. A genre that fascinates veterans and is also ideal for newcomers.

I’m referring to Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a game that arrives courtesy of Dotemu, the masterminds behind memorable titles like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and Streets of Rage 4. Now, their latest creation brings Marvel and an incredible roster of heroes to the table.

We’re getting closer to the launch of this title, although, to be honest, we still don’t know the exact release date. However, a new update gives us a glimpse into more of Marvel Cosmic Invasion, with the chance to see Ghost Rider and the one and only Black Panther in action, joining the cast of playable characters.

With the arrival of Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Marvel fans have sky-high expectations, and for good reason: the game looks spectacular. For now, its release is slated for late 2025, and you can bet we’ll be here to cover it all from Generación Xbox.
