July is shaping up to be especially exciting for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, but one date stands out above the rest. After years of success on PC and accumulating tens of thousands of positive reviews on Steam, one of the most popular survival games of recent times is set to arrive for the first time on Microsoft consoles.
Plus, it won’t be alone. Another promising sci-fi title will also debut during the month, expanding the catalog for PC Game Pass players.
July 21st brings one of Steam’s top-rated survival games to Game Pass
The big date to mark is July 21st, when The Planet Crafter will make its debut on Xbox Series, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. The game, focused on survival, building, and terraforming planets, has brutal reviews on Steam.
Until now, the title was only available on PC, where it has built a large community thanks to its mix of exploration, resource management, and constant progression. Its arrival on Xbox is one of the most anticipated releases of the summer for many fans of the genre.
Earlier, on July 17th, PC Game Pass subscribers will receive Fogpiercer, a new roguelike proposal with deck-building and sci-fi setting. In this game, players must upgrade a train and make their way through a hostile world filled with bandits and dangers.
But if there’s a date that deserves to be marked in red for Game Pass users, it’s undoubtedly July 21st. Because not every day does a game with such a reputation among the Steam community arrive in the catalog.
