Helldivers 2 continues to expand its offering with a new patch that is now available on Xbox: the Into The Unjust update. Arrowhead Studios has introduced a large amount of fresh content that combines new gameplay features, balance adjustments, and technical fixes that improve the player experience.
The main star of this patch is the Hive Worlds, planets infested with colossal caves and environments full of dangers. Players will have to explore dark tunnels with destructible walls, corrosive alien flora, and huge lakes of acid, all with the help of a flashlight and a good dose of courage.
New features of the Into The Unjust update
Among the most important content are:
-
Hive Worlds: maps with randomly generated caves, with perforated ceilings that allow the use of strategies.
-
New missions: destroy the Spore Lung to stop the spread of the Gloom, control the GATER (a huge drilling platform) and complete various collection and elimination missions.
-
New enemies:
-
Rupture Spewer, capable of spitting acid and regenerating by devouring its own kind.
-
Rupture Warrior, mutated and more aggressive underground.
-
Rupture Charger, which hides underground and attacks with sudden charges.
-
Dragonroach, an aerial threat that launches combustible acid from the sky.
-
Adjustments and corrections
The studio has also worked on improving gameplay:
-
Review of orbital and stunning strategies, now with unified damage, penetration, and demolition values.
-
Stunning grenades and Hellpods are more effective, with a significant increase in impact force but without affecting players with ragdoll.
-
Technical corrections: several problems with crashes, audio failures, bugs in weapons like the WASP Launcher and errors in enemy behavior and missions have been resolved.
