The world of Hell Is Us is full of secrets and puzzles that will put your problem-solving skills to the test. Some are quite intuitive and easy to solve, but others will have you thinking and maybe even driving you crazy to figure them out. In this case, we’re sharing one of the puzzles you’ll need to solve in Hell Is Us to progress through the game’s story.

In this instance, once you’ve advanced through the story and reached the first town, you’ll need to locate the blacksmith to reactivate the weapon forge. To do so, you’ll have to complete a search mission, and after completing it, you’ll receive a key to unlock the door to Vitalis’ house, the town’s blacksmith. Inside the house, in the basement, there’s a door with a code that you must open to progress, and we’re going to give you the code in case you don’t want to think too much.

Vitalis’ Secret Door Code in Hell Is Us

If you want to solve the puzzle on your own, go ahead, but if you want to take the quick route, this is the code you need to enter into the panel to open the door and progress through the story:

To decipher the code on your own, simply read the numbers on the boxes you need to place next to the secret door. The numbers on the first two boxes are easy to see, but to find the third one, number 13, you’ll need to look in the basement at the child’s toy car, where you’ll find the missing numbers. These numbers are the same for all playthroughs and don’t change.
