Grand Theft Auto VI is once again at the center of all conversations, and this time it’s not just because of a single leak. Over the past few hours, several movements related to Rockstar, PlayStation, and Take-Two have led many in the community to believe that the highly anticipated Trailer 3 could arrive as early as this week.
Although there is no official confirmation, the fact is that the clues are piling up, and some fit too well with the May calendar. On both Reddit and X, many players are already convinced that Rockstar is preparing to kick off the game’s full promotional campaign.
Clues surrounding GTA 6 start to pile up ahead of May
- One of the details that’s generating the most buzz is the prediction by insider Detective Seeds, who claims that the new trailer will arrive on Wednesday, May 13, along with the opening of pre-orders. Adding to this, Rockstar has been using magenta and cyan tones in posts related to GTA Online and GTA+, colors that clearly match the visual identity of GTA 6.
Meanwhile, PlayStation has also started making moves. Some users are receiving promotional emails recommending they upgrade to PS5 to play the new GTA, while the PS Store has already removed the “recently announced” tag from the game’s page. Additionally, PlayStation’s next big digital promotion is set to launch on May 13 and will feature a design similar to the GTA 6 logo.
To all this, we must add another important detail: Take-Two’s next financial call will take place on May 21. Historically, these types of events are often accompanied by announcements or campaigns to boost investor confidence, especially considering the game’s launch is scheduled in about six months.
The cherry on top comes from Game Informer, whose next cover will feature a game with a four-word title, something many are directly linking to Grand Theft Auto VI. It could just be coincidences… or maybe Rockstar is about to kick off the biggest marketing machine of the year.
