The next big leap in the saga is already taking shape on social media. Forza Horizon 6 has revealed a new series of official postcards that put the focus on Japan as the main setting, showcasing natural landscapes, open roads, and urban environments that reinforce the project’s ambition.
These images arrive after the recent Deep Dive of the game and serve to advance the tone of the new Festival Horizon, which will bet on a more dense, interconnected, and open world designed for both free exploration and multiplayer tests. The studio once again insists on the unique identity of each region and a map designed with a high level of detail.
Japan will be the main protagonist of the new Forza Horizon 6
According to Playground Games, the Japan map will offer connected regions, seasonal changes, and a recreation of Tokyo that will mark a before and after in the series. The Japanese capital will be the largest city ever seen in Forza Horizon, surpassing any urban environment from previous installments.
- The game will be released on May 19th on PC and Xbox Series, with availability from day one on Xbox Game Pass. From Microsoft Gaming, they highlight that the new Festival Horizon will feature more parallel activities, multiplayer challenges, and pure exploration options, taking advantage of Japan’s passion for motors and car culture.
With these first postcards, Forza Horizon 6 begins to take shape as one of the most ambitious projects from Playground Games, betting on scale, variety, and a strong visual identity from its first day on Xbox and PC.
