The release of Battlefield 6 came with several classic modes like Conquest, Advance, Assault, and Domination, but it seems that EA has more content on the way. According to Insider Gaming, an analysis of the game’s files has revealed six new multiplayer modes that could be added soon.
The data found in the online mode’s internal code (under the codename “Glacier”, used to refer to Battlefield 6) mentions the following modes: Raid (Incursion), Payload (Carga), Sabotage, Squad Shootout (Tiroteo por escuadras), Strikepoint (Punto de asalto), and Tank Hunt (Caza de tanques). All of them appear in the file system’s routes, suggesting that their development is already advanced or in internal testing phase.
New modes leaked in Battlefield 6
So far, EA has only officially confirmed two of them: Strikepoint (Punto de asalto), which will arrive on October 28th along with the start of Season 1: Rogue Ops, and Sabotage, scheduled for November 18th as part of Season 1: California Resistance.
-
Raid (Incursion) – Possibly a cooperative or assault mode with chained objectives.
-
Payload (Carga) – Could focus on escorting or stopping a mobile objective, in the style of classic escort modes.
-
Sabotage – Officially confirmed; will be available on November 18th with Season 1: California Resistance.
-
Squad Shootout (Tiroteo por escuadras) – A reduced format based on direct confrontation between squads.
-
Strikepoint (Punto de asalto) – Will arrive on October 28th along with the premiere of Season 1: Rogue Ops.
-
Tank Hunt (Caza de tanques) – Everything points to a mode focused on combat with heavy vehicles and mechanized objectives.
The rest, Incursion, Payload, Squad Shootout, and Tank Hunt, have not been announced yet, although their presence in the game’s files suggests that they could be incorporated in future updates or seasons.
If confirmed, these additions would significantly expand the game’s cooperative and competitive mode offerings, reinforcing Electronic Arts and DICE‘s commitment to keeping Battlefield 6 as a living and constantly evolving experience.
