We’re moving forward and have already passed the midpoint of September, marking the beginning of the final stretch of the year when companies will rush to launch their major projects before entering 2026.
In addition to new games, we’ll continue to receive new content for titles that have been on the market for a long time and remain active, with examples like Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, the most popular installment in Microsoft’s RTS saga.
Age of Empires II: DE receives new chronicles in October
This title arrived several years ago, being a remake of the successful game released in the late 1990s for PC, and has been a fan favorite ever since.
The saga as a whole is more alive than ever, receiving a lot of new content, and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is no exception, as we’ll have new chronicles with new content, including new factions, storylines, and more, in the upcoming month of October, which can be seen in the gameplay trailer published on the official Xbox YouTube channel, featuring the historical figure of Alexander the Great.
Although Age of Empires IV is the latest installment in the series, the second game has the largest community, and it’s great to see that it’s still receiving content to this day, something we hope will continue to happen for a long time, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on it.
