As the conversation about video game prices continues to heat up, a curious Google error related to Grand Theft Auto VI is quickly spreading among gamers and social media.
For some unknown reason, the search engine briefly displayed a supposed price for GTA 6 that was completely unrealistic: just $0.16, a figure so absurd that it quickly became a joke within the community.
The supposed price of GTA 6 shown by Google was practically symbolic
The screenshot began to be shared on social media after Google’s algorithm displayed the game with a value equivalent to about 14 cents in euros at the current exchange rate.
Clearly, this is an automatic error by the search engine and not a real price related to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Nevertheless, the situation has generated a lot of conversation, precisely because the debate about how much GTA 6 will really cost is still very much alive.
Some users even joked about the huge development costs surrounding the game. According to multiple estimates that have appeared over the past few years, the budget for Grand Theft Auto VI could easily exceed $1 billion, including development and marketing.
That’s why many gamers have been speculating for months about whether Rockstar and Take-Two might opt for a higher-than-usual price for the most anticipated release in the industry.
Meanwhile, GTA 6 is still officially scheduled for:
- November 19, 2026
And seeing how even the smallest detail related to the game quickly becomes a trend, even a ridiculous Google error has managed to put Grand Theft Auto VI back at the center of the conversation.
