There’s not much time left before the new Horizon Festival officially kicks off, and Playground Games has already taken one of the most anticipated steps before launch. As of today, Forza Horizon 6 is available for pre-download on all its available platforms.
This means that players can get the game ready from now on to start driving as soon as official access is unlocked, especially those who will be entering during the early access period of the Premium edition.
Forza Horizon 6 pre-download is now live on Xbox Series, PC, and Steam
Playground Games has confirmed that pre-loading is now possible on both Xbox Series and Steam, as well as the Xbox app for PC. This way, everything will be ready before the servers open, and you’ll avoid additional waiting time on launch day. Additionally, those with access to the Premium edition will be able to start playing before the rest, thanks to the included early access.
Important dates for Forza Horizon 6
- Premium early access: May 15th
- General release: May 19th
- Available on Xbox Series, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming
- Included from day one in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
As with other major Xbox releases, it will also be possible to take advantage of the well-known regional change to New Zealand to access the game a few hours earlier on console when the time comes for official unlock. In Spain, this usually allows players to start playing during the morning of the day before the global launch, while in Mexico it usually occurs during the afternoon-night before, depending on the configured region.
