Microsoft may have given a sneak peek at the future Xbox interface ahead of time. During a recent technical presentation focused on the future of the platform, the company revealed several images showcasing a revamped design that’s more consistent across consoles, PC, handheld devices, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The idea behind this change is clear: to make the Xbox experience feel virtually identical regardless of the device the user is playing on. A move that aligns perfectly with Microsoft’s current strategy around Project Helix and the brand’s multi-platform ecosystem.

• According to Jason Ronald during the presentation, many players had detected “fragmentation” between the different Xbox experiences depending on the platform used. Therefore, Microsoft has been working internally to create a more coherent and familiar interface across all devices.

Although the overall design still bears a strong resemblance to the current Xbox dashboard, several interesting changes are noticeable. Among them, a slightly reorganized home screen, fewer visible ads, and a visual style much closer to the current Xbox Cloud Gaming stand out.

Additionally, the images shown also hint at what could be a new version of the Xbox store integrated directly into Windows, which would further strengthen the bond between console and PC within the Xbox ecosystem.

Microsoft has not officially confirmed when this new interface will arrive or if all the elements shown are part of the final version, but everything suggests that Xbox is preparing significant changes to the user experience in the coming months.
