In Crimson Desert, money is a fundamental resource during the early hours of the adventure. Buying equipment, consumables, or upgrading certain character elements can require a significant amount of coins, so many players seek effective methods to accumulate resources quickly.

Luckily, the world of Pywel offers several ways to earn money without needing to advance too far in the story. Here, we review some of the simplest methods to get income during the early phases of the game.
Gathering flowers and selling them to merchants
One of the fastest ways to get money at the start is to gather flowers and sell them. In areas near the beginning of the adventure, especially southwest of Hernand, you can find areas with a large number of red flowers around a stone fountain. These flowers can be collected in large quantities, and each inventory space allows you to store up to 50 units, making it easy to fill your backpack in no time.
Once you have enough, simply visit the nearest merchant to sell them and get a interesting amount of coins. Additionally, in these same areas, insects can also be collected and sold, which increases the benefits even more.
However, these flowers take approximately one week in-game to reappear, so you won’t be able to repeat the process immediately.
Searching for rare minerals on the map
Another quite profitable way to earn money is by collecting valuable minerals scattered throughout the game world.
Among the most interesting materials are scolecite, azurite, and diamonds, which can be sold for good amounts of silver. The first two are often found in the northwest area of the map, where there are several extraction points with multiple units of mineral.
For example:
-
Scolecite: Sells for approximately 1.03 pieces of silver per unit.
-
Azurite: Can be sold for around 0.95 pieces of silver each.
Exploring these areas and collecting all available minerals can generate quite rapid benefits.
More advanced methods later on
These tricks work especially well during the early hours of the game, when you don’t yet have access to other more lucrative activities.
- Later in the adventure, you’ll be able to earn money by hunting animals with valuable hides, trading rare materials, or even investing in the bank, options that can generate much greater benefits.
In the meantime, if you’ve just started your adventure in Crimson Desert, these methods can help you gather a good initial capital to improve your equipment and face the first challenges of the game with greater ease.
