Capcom has celebrated a new Capcom Spotlight where they reviewed some of the projects they are preparing for the coming months. The event served to show news from several of their most anticipated games, as well as confirm changes in the release schedule of one of them.
Among the most notable announcements are new scenes from Pragmata, gameplay from Onimusha: Way of the Sword, additional content for Street Fighter 6, and a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 3.
Pragmata brings forward its release
The event began with Pragmata, which showed new scenes from the game along with some alternate costumes for the protagonists. The surprise came with its calendar, as Capcom confirmed that the game brings forward its release by one week, going from April 24 to April 17, 2026.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword shows more gameplay
Another highlight of the event was the return of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which appeared with new gameplay scenes. In the video, you could see more physical sword fights and greater interaction with the environment, which suggests a fairly dynamic combat system.
Street Fighter 6 adds new fighter
Capcom also confirmed news for Street Fighter 6, which will continue to expand its roster of characters. The fighter Alex will arrive in the game on March 17, 2026, accompanied by a new Combat Pass and additional costumes for characters like Elena and Dee-Jay.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 presents new trailer
During the event, there was also space for Monster Hunter Stories 3, which received a new trailer with more details about its release.
Capcom explained that having saved games from other games in the series will allow you to unlock additional content, in addition to confirming free downloadable content focused on customization elements.
Resident Evil celebrates its 30th anniversary
Capcom also remembered that Resident Evil turns 30 on March 22.
Among the initiatives announced is a Resident Evil 2-inspired arcade spin-off, which will arrive in Japanese arcades and use laser guns. They also announced a collaboration with Universal Studios to create a horror experience based on the series.
