After months of rumors, the return of Rayman is now official. Ubisoft has announced Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition, a re-release focused exclusively on the first chapter of the saga, which will be available tomorrow, February 13th on consoles and PC.

The announcement was made during the latest State of Play and marks the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the character, who debuted in 1995 and quickly became one of the icons of the platformer genre.

The new edition, developed in collaboration with Digital Eclipse, responsible for compilations like Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection and Tetris Forever, does not reinvent the original game, but rather enriches it with abundant additional content.

Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition will include the classic versions released on:

• PlayStation

• Atari Jaguar

• MS-DOS

• Game Boy Advance

• Game Boy Color

Additionally, it includes a prototype of the Super Nintendo version never played before, one of the main attractions for collectors and historical followers of the saga.

Among the new features are 120 additional levels, a revised soundtrack by Christophe Héral, rewind function, option to activate infinite lives and invincibility, and an interactive documentary of approximately one hour with interviews, unseen sketches, and original design documents.

The game will be available for $19.99 on Ubisoft for Xbox Series, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

With this edition, Rayman returns to the scene, celebrating his legacy without losing the essence that made him one of the great platformers of the 1990s.
