Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has already surpassed 10 million copies sold worldwide since its release. A figure that solidifies the game as one of the biggest recent successes based on the Dragon Ball universe.
The title originally launched in 2020 and, since then, has been expanding its reach thanks to enhanced versions for Xbox Series, multiple expansions, and a constant flow of additional content that has kept players engaged over time.
A sustained success thanks to content and new versions
- Part of this growth can be attributed to the arrival of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on new platforms and technical updates on next-generation consoles, which improved performance and loading times. This is complemented by a catalog of DLC that has allowed players to relive key sagas and explore new story arcs within the game.
On Xbox, the title has maintained a constant presence in sales charts and digital promotions, making it easier for new players to approach a proposal that bets on reliving Goku’s entire story from a more leisurely perspective, focused on exploration, combat, and character development.
Reaching 10 million copies sold confirms that the formula has worked and reinforces the weight of the Dragon Ball franchise within Bandai Namco’s catalog, especially in the Xbox ecosystem.
