After a 2025 marked by internal adjustments and tough decisions, Ubisoft might be preparing for a very different 2026. According to insider Tom Henderson, the French company intends to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a major Ubisoft Forward event, packed with announcements and significant news.
Henderson claims that the internal atmosphere has changed and that there is a genuine expectation to showcase what Ubisoft has in store for the coming years. Although the event has not been officially confirmed, the leaker is convinced that the next Ubisoft Forward, likely to take place in the summer, would be one of the company’s most ambitious events.
The games that could headline Ubisoft Forward 2026
Much of Henderson’s optimism is based on the number of projects that, according to his sources, are currently in development. Among announced titles and others that have not been confirmed, these are the games that are making the most noise ahead of the event:
-
Splinter Cell Remake
-
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
-
The Crew 4
-
Beyond Good and Evil 2
-
Far Cry 7
-
Ghost Recon Project Over
The Assassin’s Creed saga will also play a prominent role, with several projects in different stages of development:
-
Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag (rumored remake)
-
Assassin’s Creed Jade
-
Assassin’s Creed Hexe
-
Assassin’s Creed Invictus
For now, everything is speculative, but the volume of projects and the symbolism of the anniversary reinforce the idea of a particularly powerful event. If Ubisoft Forward 2026 takes place, it could mark a turning point for the company and its mid-term catalog.
