Another Thursday, and we’re sharing with you the new free games that Xbox has in store for us this weekend. There were two that were already announced, but we have some new ones, perfect for all tastes. Remember, you can play these games for free from today, December 18th, until Monday, December 22nd – that’s what you have to look forward to.

In case any of the games require a subscription to Game Pass to play, we’ll let you know next to the title. Also, keep in mind that if you decide to keep any of them after the trial period, you can do so with a special discount within the Free Play Days promotion.

Free Games for Xbox this Weekend

• Ark: Survival Ascended
  The revamped version of the popular open-world survival game, with technical improvements, massive maps, and a deep crafting and building system. Survive in a hostile environment filled with dinosaurs, either solo or with other players.

• Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
  The latest installment in the series lets you try out a selection of multiplayer and zombie content. Fast-paced combat, reimagined classic maps, and competitive modes that make up a big part of the game’s appeal.

• Fallout 76
  The online RPG set in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic universe offers free exploration, cooperative missions, and dynamic events. After multiple updates, it’s become a much more complete and accessible experience.

• NBA 2K26
  The latest basketball simulator bets on even more realism, with improvements in animations, controls, and competitive modes. Perfect for trying out quick matches or diving into its online modes.

• WWE 2K25
  The wrestling game lets you relive spectacular matches with a wide range of superstars, varied game modes, and customization options. A great opportunity to check out its gameplay improvements before deciding on a purchase.

Important Dates to Keep in Mind

• Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be available until December 22nd.

• Fallout 76 can be played for free until December 23rd.

• Ark: Survival Ascended, NBA 2K26, and WWE 2K25 will be available until Sunday, December 21st, in the afternoon.

Any progress you make during the weekend will be saved if you decide to purchase the full game later. Additionally, as is usually the case during Free Play Days, several of these titles have temporary discounts on the Xbox Store while the promotion lasts.
