The good news is that if you’re interested in the game now, you can add it to your Steam library and keep it for free forever. Remember, you must add it to your account before December 24th, when it will start costing $5.99 in the Valve store.
Free Steam game until December 24th
Here’s the announcement posted on Steam about the price and model change:
The game will cost $5.99, but don’t worry: if you already have the game, you’ll still have full access, including this update and all future ones, without any extra cost. The game’s brand image will also be completely revamped with the release of version 1.0, so don’t be surprised if things change a bit later.
It will also remove the game’s level editor (including the Steam Workshop page) due to new user-generated content updates. The new mod.io system and Alterchase SDK will serve as the official way to create and share user-generated content from now on. The Arena mode will also be temporarily removed while we work on future improvements. Don’t worry: it will return in a future update, better than ever.
