The Xbox and ASUS portable has just experienced its first significant price drop since its market launch. After several weeks without movement, US stores have begun to make a notable adjustment to the price of the ROG Xbox Ally, a limited-time promotion that marks an interesting point in the holiday campaign.
The cut only affects the standard model, which has had a fixed cost since its launch with hardly any variations. The offer has started to appear in different stores, and according to Xbox, it will only be active for a few days, so units could sell out before time.

The promotion reduces the price of the standard model from $599 to $499, a discount available until December 20th or while supplies last. The offer is already active on ASUS, Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, while the Microsoft Store has sold out of units in a matter of hours.
For now, this adjustment does not apply in Europe, where the price remains unchanged. Nevertheless, this is a striking move within Xbox’s commercial strategy, and it comes at a perfect time for those who were waiting for a more affordable window to get their hands on the portable console.
