There are still weeks to go, but we already have some games lined up to arrive on Xbox Game Pass in January. Stay tuned, as several titles are currently slated to arrive in the first month of the year, and as is often the case, we can expect even more games to be revealed.
Microsoft has confirmed that there won’t be any new game announcements in December, and the ones arriving next week will be the last for the month. However, what we have in store for next week is brutal, so we’ll only have to endure a two-week “drought” before we find out what’s next for the service in early January. For now, we’re leaving you with the two games that have been confirmed for a January release, even if Microsoft hasn’t announced them directly – the studios themselves have made the announcements.
New Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass in January
- On January 20th, MIO: Memories in Orbit will arrive on Xbox Series and PC, confirmed as a day-one launch on Xbox Game Pass. In this adventure, you control an android that awakens on a spaceship on the brink of collapse after its main system fails, forcing you to explore the ship’s areas, rebuild memories, and uncover what really happened on board.
- Nova Roma will be available on PC and PC Game Pass on January 22, 2026 as part of the Game Preview program. This initial version will include the foundation of the building system, city management mechanics, and initial urban development elements, with updates planned throughout the year to add new scenarios, challenges, and advanced features.
