We’ve already entered December, the last month of this turbulent year filled with major releases that have shaken the video game industry like never before, with authentic successes like Expedition 33 or the recent arrival of Silksong on PC and consoles after so many years since its announcement.
We’re no longer expecting any major releases before entering 2026, but this month will bring significant additions and updates to games that have been active in the market for a long time, with World of Warcraft being one of the best examples.
World of Warcraft: Midnight Prepares for Its Arrival in 2026
Blizzard’s MMO is constantly receiving new content, and we currently have it very much alive with important updates in both the retail version and the World of Warcraft: Classic servers. However, next year, the key point will be this expansion called “Midnight”, which already has its pre-order active.
World of Warcraft: Midnight will arrive on March 3rd of next year, but patch 11.2.7 launches a new part of the story with the prologue for this new expansion, which also adds some of the gameplay novelties, such as building your own house.
World of Warcraft: Midnight is the next major expansion for the most important MMO in the video game industry, and we hope that the road to its release will continue to be filled with updates, which we’ll be keeping an eye on.
