After months of rumors and leaks, it seems that Silent Hill 2 Remake is closer than ever to arriving on Xbox Series. According to the latest updates registered on SteamDB, Konami has uploaded new trailers for the game just after the Xbox Series version appeared rated by the ESRB, the organization responsible for rating video games in North America.

This move has set off all the alarms among fans, as it is usually a step prior to the launch announcement. Additionally, several insiders point out that these materials would correspond to “Born From a Wish”, an expansion based on the additional content that already accompanied the classic original in its Director’s Cut version.

Everything points to an imminent announcement for Xbox Series

The most revealing detail is that these new videos were uploaded only to Steam servers, which suggests that they could be global trailers for the new content and not specific to Microsoft’s console. Still, the coincidence in time with the ESRB registration suggests that Konami may be preparing a double announcement: the arrival of Silent Hill 2 Remake on Xbox Series and the presentation of its first DLC.

For now, neither Bloober Team nor Konami have made official statements, but everything points to the announcement being made this same week, possibly through a new joint trailer that reveals the exact release dates.
