After its delay in August, we finally have a new release window for Crimson Desert. The Pearl Abyss title was showcased at the State of Play and confirmed that it will arrive on Xbox and PC in March 2026, clearing up doubts about when we could play it.
The game is not a direct sequel to Black Desert, although it inherits part of its technical ambition. This time around, the proposal is closer to an action RPG with intense combat, free exploration, and an open world that promises to be full of life.
Crimson Desert will arrive on Xbox in March 2026
The adventure takes us to Pywel, a land marked by war and instability. In the midst of this chaos, we follow Kliff, leader of the Greymanes, who embarks on a personal quest where confrontations against rival factions and fantastical creatures will not be lacking.
Pearl Abyss ensures that gameplay will focus on dynamic battles, with a system that will allow players to vary weapons and combat styles to adapt to each situation. All of this accompanied by a visual aspect that seeks to squeeze the potential of Xbox Series to create spectacular environments.
With its release set for March 2026, Crimson Desert is shaping up to be one of the most notable releases of next year on Xbox and PC consoles.
