The wait is over: EA Sports FC 26 is now in its launch week and players will be able to start entering the field in a progressive manner depending on the platform.
As has become customary, the calendar will not be the same for everyone, with clear advantages for those playing on Xbox and PC, who will be able to access before PlayStation users.
EA Sports FC 26 Access Dates
-
Wednesday, September 17 → Web application available.
-
Between Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18 → Early access for streamers and content creators.
-
Friday, September 19 → Access for Xbox and PC users.
-
Saturday, September 20 → Access for PlayStation users.
Xbox and PC Get Early Access
The fact that Xbox and PC can start playing on Friday, September 19, gives them a slight advantage over PlayStation, which will have to wait until Saturday, September 20. This means that those playing in the Xbox ecosystem will have the opportunity to try out the new EA Sports title first and start making a difference from day one.
How Can I Get Early Access?
- The New Zealand trick has become a tradition among Xbox players. The explanation is simple: in the Microsoft ecosystem, you can change your console’s region to another country from the settings menu, without the need for a VPN or complicated processes.
- In practice, this means that on Friday, September 19, when the clock strikes midnight in New Zealand, Xbox players from anywhere in the world will be able to enter EA Sports FC 26 already, ahead of other regions.
- On PC, something similar happens: digital platforms (like EA App) respect the unlock time according to region, and New Zealand is the first to open the door.
With these dates now confirmed, all that’s left to do is turn on the console and get ready: the biggest virtual soccer season to date is about to begin.
