After a scorching hot phase, we’ve finally entered the month of September, marking the beginning of the final stretch of the year when companies will rush to launch their major projects before 2026 arrives.
In addition to new games, we’ll continue to receive fresh content for titles that have been on the market for a long time and are still active, with examples even within Xbox Game Studios, such as Halo Infinite and its free-to-play multiplayer.
Halo Infinite Unveils Its Final Summer Operation
Last month, we had the most significant operation in recent months, featuring a new weapon, a new vehicle, and many more exciting additions that kept us hooked this summer.
Now, Halo Infinite bids farewell to the heat with its final operation of the season, aptly named “Warpath,” which brings a new game mode, six new maps, new adjustments, and more cosmetic content for players. You can check out all the details in the post on HaloWaypoint or in the launch trailer published on the official YouTube channel.

We’re not sure if Halo Infinite will continue to add new content in the coming months, but we should have a better idea by the start of October, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on it.
