Electronic Arts wants to ensure that the next installment of its war saga goes head-to-head with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. To achieve this, Battlefield 6 will incorporate two of the most requested features by fans: persistent custom servers and direct access to Portal, the creative mode where the community can design and share their own multiplayer experiences.

From Battlefield Studios, they have explained that with the purchase of the game, players will be able to keep their own hosted servers active, so they will always appear in the internal browser’s search results. This means that finding community-created matches will be easier and faster, avoiding the need to rely on temporary lists or one-time events.
