The future of Fallout 76 is more alive than ever, and Gamescom 2025 has been the chosen stage to show what many players have been asking for for years. Bethesda has revealed CAMP Revamp, the new free update that promises to redesign the building and settlement management experience from scratch.
This is one of the most requested features by the community, as explained by Jon Rush, creative director of the project. During the presentation, he emphasized that a huge percentage of players spend countless hours customizing every detail of their camp, making it the true heart of the experience.
CAMP Revamp, a long-awaited update in Fallout 76
The renovation will arrive with deep changes that aim to give more freedom and reduce the current limitations of the system. Among the most notable innovations are:
-
Less restrictive rules for placing modular pieces.
-
A renewed menu with greater accessibility and more intuitive options.
-
Greater creative flexibility, allowing for much more ambitious designs.
-
New monthly challenges focused on building, managing, and customizing settlements.
All of this will arrive completely free of charge by the end of 2025 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, both for those who already have the game and for Xbox Game Pass subscribers and equivalent services on other platforms.
Bethesda ensures that this update represents a “revolution” in the way CAMPs are conceived, and that it will be just the first step in a new era for the multiplayer title. It’s clear that Fallout 76 continues to expand its horizons, strengthening its player base and offering more reasons to return to Appalachia.
