Gamescom 2025 was not only marked by the Opening Night Live, but also by a new edition of the Future Games Show, a showcase where publishers and studios presented projects in development and updates on already announced titles. The event left a good dose of news for PC and consoles, with proposals ranging from highly anticipated sequels to independent projects with great personality.

Among the most striking things were new looks at already presented games, such as Little Nightmares 3 or Tormented Souls 2, in addition to unprecedented announcements like HELL Let LOOSE: Vietnam or the RPG Edge of Memories. There was also room for updates on upcoming titles, such as Hyper Light Breaker or Hotel Barcelona, and several surprises that will be released throughout 2025 and 2026.

The Future Games Show at this edition of Gamescom reinforced its role as one of the most varied showcases at the fair, combining independent releases with high-budget productions.
