The highly anticipated arrival of ROG Xbox Ally seems to be leaving its first signs on Xbox. Through Reddit, we’ve learned that Microsoft has integrated a new startup sound into the Xbox interface, as well as menu sounds.

If this were any other time, we could simply say it’s just another update to refresh the interface and sounds. But knowing that in a few months, the two portable consoles from ASUS ROG Xbox Ally will be available, we can infer that Microsoft is preparing a new unified interface, both for portable consoles and their gaming systems, and possibly for other devices as well.
