The My Time series, known for its previous installments such as My Time at Sandrock and My Time at Portia, expands with a new formula that combines life simulation and RPG elements. My Time at Evershine, the latest chapter in the series, features a revamped art style, improved gameplay mechanics, and a diverse cast of characters. Players will take on the role of governor, rather than builder, allowing them to lead the development of the city and its citizens.
In My Time at Evershine, players will start with a humble campfire and must recruit colonists, build infrastructure, and lead their people to create a new stronghold for the Alliance. The city will be filled with charming characters and memorable stories to enjoy. The narrative campaign can be enjoyed solo or in co-op mode with up to four players, making it perfect for families and friends. The host will control the pace of the main story, while all players will share resources and money, allowing everyone to collaborate and contribute to the adventure together.
The new trailer gives us a glimpse into the skills, combat, and missions we’ll be able to undertake
One of the main features of My Time at Evershine is the ability to build a society. Players will be able to recruit and customize a team of non-playable characters (NPCs) to handle daily tasks, such as building and resource gathering. This will allow the governor to focus on more important decisions.
Additionally, players will be able to recruit up to three followers to accompany them on their daily tasks or send them to carry out their orders in the north of Eufala. The relationship with these characters will be significant, as players will need to take into account the needs and desires of their followers, as fatigue and hunger will affect morale and performance.
Coming to Xbox and PC, but no release date announced
My Time at Evershine will also include full mod support, allowing players to customize and expand their RPG experience. Mod support will be available for both single-player and multiplayer, enabling players to create new content and personalize their gaming experience. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC, although a release date has not been announced.
The story of My Time at Evershine takes place three years after the events of My Time at Sandrock. The Duvos Empire has taken over the Orzu Ruins, leading to a tense situation just north of the Alliance of Free Cities’ border. In response, the Alliance has launched the Northern Development Plan to relocate colonists to the area and establish a new City-State for better defense. Evershine is one of the six new main settlements in the area and will play a crucial role in the ongoing hostilities.
