New update available for Elden Ring: Nightreign, with many changes and fixes across all platforms

Elden Ring: Nightreign has received a new update that is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, PS5, and Steam. This version 1.01.4 of the game —accompanied by regulation 1.01.5— focuses on improving overall stability and fixing various errors that affected the experience, especially in multiplayer, achievements, and visual elements.

The patch, mandatory for online play, is downloaded automatically when logging into the servers. FromSoftware has confirmed that it will continue to release new updates to further perfect the game.

Elden Ring: Nightreign Patch 1.01.4

Here are some of the most relevant fixes included in the update:

• The weapon type now appears in the description of each equipment, making inventory management easier.

• Fixed an error that prevented multiplayer matching after two players entered and exited the team simultaneously.

• Resolved an issue that caused the “It’s Raining!” gesture to not register correctly when obtained in multiplayer.

• No more cheating in the third boss of “Day 3”: it is no longer possible to stay alive after leaving the session and returning from the main menu.

• The music in the Recluso’s memory now plays correctly under the intended conditions.

• Fixed a bug that blocked the “The Crater” achievement if the game was closed improperly just after completing the “Shifting Land: The Crater” area.

• Other minor errors have also been corrected.

After installing the patch, the version displayed in the main menu should be App Ver. 1.01.4 and Regulation Ver. 1.01.5. If not, simply log in to the server to apply the updated regulation files.

This new patch improves the experience in both solo and online modes. Elden Ring: Nightreign continues to fine-tune details after its release, and everything suggests that more updates will arrive in the coming weeks.
