The recent news that FBC Firebreak, the multiplayer spin-off of Control, has reached one million players worldwide has sparked widespread skepticism among gamers. This is because, according to numbers registered on Steam, the game has failed to attract a large number of users since its release on June 17 for PC and consoles.

In fact, on Steam, the number of active players is very low, with just over 150 players at the time of writing this news.
