After many months without concrete news, there is finally a definitive date for one of the most veteran shooters that returns with force in 2025. The new Delta Force, developed by TiMi Studio (Tencent), confirms its arrival on Xbox Series as a free game, accompanied by additional free content, as we shared with you a few days ago.
The release is scheduled for August 19, 2025, and will be exclusive to next-generation consoles, namely Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. In addition to competitive team multiplayer, it will include a complete JcE campaign based on Black Hawk Down, all completely free from day one.
Delta Force free on Xbox Series: release date and all included content
The new Delta Force bets on a competitive, tactical, and free experience, with a focus on multiplayer and realistic combat in environments inspired by modern conflicts. If the console tests are positive, we could be facing a new strong contender within the FPS genre. It presents itself as a modern reimagining of the PC classic, with a tactical focus, matches of up to 64 players, and three differentiated modes: massive PvP, Escape from Tarkov-style extraction, and the aforementioned cooperative campaign set in Mogadishu, inspired by the Ridley Scott film and the real 1993 operation.
With this proposal, Xbox will add another free title that could hook both veterans and new players, especially due to its more tactical approach and the added value of the Black Hawk Down campaign at no cost.
