11 Bit Studios shows Frostpunk 2 running on consoles in a new trailer

We’ve already passed the midpoint of August, with the last weeks of summer approaching and the final stretch of the year just around the corner, set to begin in September.

These past months have seen a plethora of major titles hit the market, and we’re still far from done. Despite the calm of July and August, once September arrives, we’ll be back to the big-ticket releases scheduled for 2025, although we can also expect some re-releases before entering 2026, with Frostpunk 2 being one of the prime examples.

Frostpunk 2 Prepares to Land on Consoles

This title has already been out on PC for a while, where it achieved more than acceptable success with good sales and was also added to the Game Pass catalog.

Frostpunk 2 already has a release date set for Xbox Series X/S, and the developers are preparing the ground with a new gameplay trailer captured on consoles that they’ve published on their official YouTube channel.

Frostpunk 2 already achieved great success on PC, and now it’s time for it to replicate that success on current-generation consoles, something we’ll be keeping an eye on after its release in the coming days.
