Zenless Zone Zero will have a physical collector’s edition and already has a release date

HoYoverse has left an additional surprise during its latest broadcast dedicated to Zenless Zone Zero. In addition to presenting the news of update 2.7, the studio also confirmed that the popular free-to-play game will receive a special physical edition designed for collectors.

Although it may seem unusual to see a free game in physical format, this is not the first time the company has opted for this type of release. Something similar happened earlier with Honkai: Star Rail, where a special edition was offered that included collectible items in addition to access to the game.

What’s included in the physical edition of Zenless Zone Zero

This physical version will be mainly aimed at fans who want to have a collector’s edition of the game, as the package will include both physical content and rewards within the game itself.

Among the confirmed elements are:

• Game disc
• Acrylic figure of Anby with NFC sensor, which will allow some kind of special interaction
• Set of postcards
• Acrylic avatar cards
• Character cards
• Collectible badge
• Code for additional in-game content

The included code will allow players to unlock extra resources within the game, including Polychrome and other items, so it’s not limited to just the currency used for draws.

For now, reservations have not yet opened in Italy or other European territories, although several international stores have already announced the main information about the release. According to those listings, the physical edition of Zenless Zone Zero will arrive on September 17, 2026, with an approximate price of $59.99. Meanwhile, the game continues to expand its content with new updates within its free-to-play model.
