The Gamescom 2025 is already showing off the magic of the industry, one of the first gems to appear is He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Dragon Pearl of Destruction, a title that comes from Limited Run Games and brings the glories of Eternia to Xbox with a beat ’em up of up to four players in cooperative mode, where we can embody these legendary heroes, icons of an entire generation.

In the gameplay that was shown, you can observe the game’s graphic style, which features excellent pixel art, some scenarios, and what will be the powers of the three characters that have been revealed so far, He-Man, Teela, and Man-at-arms, there’s a fourth character announced but whose identity is unknown.

The title arrives in a new era of “me against the neighborhood” games focused on big franchises from the 80s and 90s, with games like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, and GI Joe: Wrath of Cobra as a standard.

He-Man, on the other hand, will have a new movie in theaters in 2026. The production has already finished filming and it’s just a matter of months before the official release date is announced. This will be the second movie of the character, the first one was not well received and starred Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren in the role of the strongest man in the universe.
