Players on Xbox Series can now try the demo of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake for free, the remake of the renowned horror game developed by Koei Tecmo. The demo is already available for download from the Xbox Store and allows players to experience the beginning of the adventure.
This demo offers a first look at the new version of the classic known in the West as Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly, one of the most memorable chapters in the Japanese horror saga.
The demo allows players to experience the start of the remake
In the demo, you’ll be able to experience the first moments of the story, which follows the twin sisters Mio and Mayu as they venture into a mysterious abandoned village inhabited by vengeful spirits, where an ancient tragedy seems to be repeating itself.
The game retains the characteristic concept of the series: exploring eerie environments and facing ghosts using the camera, a mechanic that became one of the hallmarks of the series.

Additionally, the studio has confirmed that progress from the demo can be transferred to the full game, allowing players to start the adventure now and continue it later when the final version is released.
