You can now enable FSR 4 in Cyberpunk 2077: AMD launches new version with support on PC

The latest AMD driver update is now available, and it brings a highly anticipated feature for Cyberpunk 2077 PC players: official support for FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), the company’s new scaling technology.

This implementation allows for improved game performance on demanding configurations, especially at high resolutions like 1440p or 4K, without sacrificing too much graphical quality. To activate it, simply update your Radeon drivers to version 25.8.1 or higher, available now on AMD’s official website.

FSR 4 now available in Cyberpunk 2077: requirements and new features

The 25.8.1 driver update enables FSR 4 in Cyberpunk 2077 for compatible AMD graphics cards, particularly those in the RX 6000 and RX 7000 series. This version includes optimizations to improve smoothness, as well as specific fixes for popular titles and technical adjustments that affect overall PC performance.

Fixed issues in this version:

• Stuttering when playing 4K videos in Chrome has been improved.

• Intermittent crashes in Monster Hunter Wilds, Battlefield 2042, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard have been resolved.

• Stability and performance improvements have been made to the Verdansk map in Call of Duty: Warzone.

• Texture issues with Oculus Rift S on RX 5000 and RX 6000 cards have been corrected.

Known issues that still persist:

• Visual artifacts in Mafia: The Old Country (RX 6600).

• Random crashes in The Last of Us Part II, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and FBC: Firebreak.

• Failures in NBA 2K26 when playing in MyCareer mode with an RX 9070.

• Issues with FSR 4 enabled on certain RX 9000 models (Cyberpunk is not directly affected, but Wuchang is).
