Epic Games has launched a special collaboration between Fortnite and Rocket League to celebrate the summer event Summer Road Trip. This crossover between the two titles allows you to unlock free content in Fortnite Chapter 6 simply by completing a few missions in Rocket League, without spending any V-Bucks or visiting the store.

The promotion is already live and can be accessed from any compatible platform. All you need is to have Rocket League installed (it’s completely free) and complete a couple of specific challenges. How to unlock the free rewards from the Fortnite x Rocket League event

There are two challenges available within Rocket League, both part of the limited-time Summer Road Trip event. Each challenge is linked to a specific reward that can be unlocked later in Fortnite:

• League Balloon glider: Play a private match with custom modifiers.

• Slipstream outfit: Make 15 saves or epic saves in online matches.

It’s very easy

• The first challenge is very simple and can be completed in just a minute. Ideally, create a private match against bots, leave all modifiers at standard values, and select the option to end the match after the first goal. This way, you can score immediately, end the match, and claim the glider.
• The second challenge is more demanding, but also quite accessible if you know how to approach it. You need to accumulate 15 saves in online matches, including both regular and epic saves. To make it easier, you can start 1v1 matches and stay as the goalkeeper, waiting for the opponent to shoot. In many cases, you’ll find other players doing the same, so you can cooperate to make the saves without competing seriously.
• Once you’ve completed the tasks, remember to enter the Rocket League rewards menu and manually redeem the items so they can be transferred to Fortnite.
