Xbox strengthens Stream Your Own Game with over 50 new games (also in Essential)

The program does not stop growing and adds dozens of titles in its final stretch of the year.

Xbox has taken advantage of the final stretch of 2025 to give a significant boost to its Stream Your Own Game program, adding over 50 games in just the month of December. Although Microsoft doesn’t usually announce these moves officially, community tracking confirms it’s been one of the most active months since the service launched.

This system allows playing cloud games with titles you already own, without needing them to be part of Xbox Game Pass, thus expanding the value of streaming beyond the subscription catalog. And the numbers speak for themselves: in December, a wide range of games have been added, from recent indies to well-known big productions.
