Microsoft has not yet announced the official date, but everything indicates that the Xbox 2025 summer sales will begin between this Thursday, July 17, and Friday, July 18. This is one of the most notable promotions of the year, both in terms of the volume of discounts and the quality of the discounted titles for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.
The calendar from previous years reinforces this forecast: in 2024, the sales began on July 19; in 2023, on July 14; and in 2022, on July 15. Only in 2021 and 2020 did they extend into August, something that has not happened since then. Friday, July 25, would be the latest possible margin, but everything points to the campaign starting earlier.
When do the Xbox Store summer sales start
Everything indicates that the promotion will be activated on Thursday, July 17, or Friday, July 18, following the usual pattern of launches on Fridays and with solid precedents. There is also a smaller possibility that it will be brought forward to Tuesday, July 15, taking advantage of the weekly rotation of offers in the Xbox Store.
