The weekend is one of those things we all enjoy, but unfortunately, it’s over before we know it, and we have to go back to our routine. However, we’re going to make it a little more bearable with a touch of nostalgia and quality, and you’ll soon understand what I’m referring to.

At Generación Xbox, we’re celebrating Rare’s 40th anniversary, which means we should be thrilled to have received their best works over the years. That’s why we’re going to give you some great games to kick off this week.

Luckily, if you have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription, you’ll be able to check out some of our recommendations to start the week, and it’ll be in the company of Rare, celebrating this memorable anniversary with their best titles. Now, let’s take a look at the games:

Monday with a twist, featuring Conker’s Bad Fur Day

A very peculiar squirrel, loaded with many nuances and problems, which nowadays is a bit hard to digest, and what better way to accompany us on a heavy Monday.

Tuesday with the underrated Jet Force Gemini

One of my favorite Nintendo 64 games is Jet Force Gemini, where we control three characters with unique abilities to save the galaxy from the evil Mizar, who spreads chaos with his relentless forces. A perfect game for the middle of the week.

Wednesday with platforms, featuring the best of all, Banjo-Kazooie

To be on par with the king of platforms, Super Mario Bros, is a feat that only Rare has achieved with Banjo-Kazooie. A wonderful option for the middle of the week and to get us even more excited.

Thursday with madness, featuring Battletoads

Dificulty is present with Rare, a game that’s an icon of gamer culture from several decades ago, with a hellish challenge perfect for speeding up the day.

Friday, we close with the spiritual sequel to GoldenEye: Perfect Dark

Unfortunately, we never got a direct sequel to GoldenEye, but Rare didn’t sit idly by and brought us Perfect Dark, one of the best first-person shooters to hit consoles, a title that helped forge the legacy left by Bond. A perfect closing for the week.

This week is packed with Rare games, the best experiences you’ll be able to get on Xbox Game Pass. The idea is to have fun while fulfilling our daily obligations.
