Xbox Game Pass kicks off 2026 with new free rewards for subscribers

The new year kicks off with exciting news for Game Pass subscribers, and Xbox has already launched the first batch of Xbox Game Pass Perks for January 2026. Although we’re still in the early days of the month and the pace is a bit slower after the holiday season, there’s already an interesting list of free content available.

As is usually the case, the Perks include everything from cosmetic packs and exclusive items to temporary subscriptions and advantages for free-to-play games. Additionally, it seems that more rewards will be added over the coming weeks as Xbox returns to its normal activity.

New Xbox Game Pass Perks available in January 2026

This year, Xbox is maintaining its commitment to rewarding Game Pass members with varied content. Most Perks are available for Essential, Premium, and Ultimate members, although some specific benefits remain exclusive to Ultimate:

• Fortnite Crew – Monthly Subscription (available every month, only for Ultimate)
  Includes full access to all active passes, exclusive items, and 1,000 V-Bucks.

• Rocket League – Rocket Pass Premium (available every month, only for Ultimate)
  Access to the premium track with additional rewards and experience boosters.

• Sea of Thieves – Fancy Jig Emote (redeem before January 3, 2026)
  Exclusive gesture to celebrate your high-seas adventures.

• PUBG: Battlegrounds – Exclusive Survivor Pack (until January 8, 2026)
  Hunter crates, keys, and contraband coupons.

• The First Descendant – Assemble Bundle (until January 10, 2026)

Additionally, there are Perks that are unlocked automatically when starting certain games, without the need to redeem them manually. These include:
