In Xbox Generation we know that it’s not always easy to decide what to play when you have a catalog as large as Xbox Game Pass. That’s why this week we wanted to bring you two proposals that we think fit perfectly for this weekend: an intense experience, loaded with tension and technical improvements, and another more relaxed one but with just the right touch of challenge.

We’ve looked for something that combines the best of both worlds: on the one hand, an impactful adventure that will put your concentration and reflexes to the test; on the other, an open-world exploration title that invites you to disconnect while pedaling through spectacular landscapes.
Our recommended Xbox Game Pass games for the weekend
- Hellblade II Enhanced arrives with the Dark Rot Mode, an optional challenge where corruption advances with each defeat. If it reaches Senua’s head, the game ends and all progress is lost, adding an extra layer of tension. It also includes an Improved Photo Mode with new tools and a “Movement” tab to create cinematic video captures, as well as over four hours of developer commentary where Ninja Theory and its team share creative and technical details.
- The other recommendation is Wheel World, an open-world cycling game that allows you to move freely through different natural environments, face technical challenges, and fully customize your bike. An ideal proposal for those looking for a quiet game, but with enough challenge to keep your attention from start to finish.
