Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its catalog and already has another day-one release confirmed for April. Microsoft has revealed that a new narrative-driven sci-fi adventure developed by Don’t Nod will arrive directly on the service from day one.

The announcement was made along with a new trailer that shows some details of the game’s setting and protagonists who must survive on an unknown planet.
Aphelion is coming to Xbox Game Pass on April 28
- The game in question is Aphelion, a title that will be officially released on April 28, 2026 and will be available from the first moment on Xbox Game Pass.
The story follows Thomas and Ariane, two characters who are trapped on the alien planet Persephone and must face both the dangers of the environment and the personal conflicts that exist between them.
The new project also reunites the creative team behind Tell Me Why, one of the most notable narrative-driven titles to arrive on the service’s catalog. Aphelion will also feature Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing play on both Xbox Series and PC, as well as being compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming for streaming play on various devices.
With this announcement, Xbox Game Pass continues to reinforce its strategy of day-one releases, one of the main identifying features of Microsoft’s service.
