Blizzard has confirmed a series of official presentations where it will reveal its plans for some of the most influential franchises in the Xbox catalog. The studio, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026, will take advantage of the coming weeks to share news about the direction its most iconic games will take.
This series of events comes at a particularly relevant time for the company, now fully integrated into Microsoft Gaming. Although Blizzard has not yet detailed the exact content of each presentation, everything suggests that it will serve to mark the roadmap for its main titles over the next few months.
Blizzard will detail the future of Diablo, Overwatch, WoW, and Hearthstone
The first event will take place on January 29th, with a presentation focused on World of Warcraft, starting at 6:00 PM (Spanish mainland time) and 11:00 AM in Mexico City. It will be followed by Overwatch on February 4th at 7:00 PM in Spain and 12:00 PM in Mexico, while Hearthstone will have its own event on February 9th at 6:30 PM in Spain and 11:30 AM in Mexico.
The last confirmed presentation will be that of Diablo, scheduled for February 11th at 11:00 PM in Spain and 4:00 PM in Mexico City. In all cases, Blizzard has indicated that it will focus on the future of each franchise, with announcements related to new content, medium-term plans, and the support planned for 2026.
Although no sequels or new projects have been explicitly mentioned, these presentations come after the studio’s statements that this will be their “biggest year to date”. Everything suggests that Xbox wants to strengthen Blizzard’s weight within its catalog with relevant announcements and more direct communication with the community in the coming weeks.
